Submit Online Application
Complete our comprehensive online application. Share your background, experience, goals, and why you want to pursue a career in tattooing. Portfolio submission is optional but encouraged.
Admissions Review
Our admissions team carefully reviews every application. We evaluate your goals, commitment level, and fit for the program. You'll hear from us within 3–5 business days.
Interview & Studio Tour
Qualified applicants are invited for an in-person interview and tour of Vienna Tattoo Studio. This is your opportunity to see the training environment and ask questions.
Enrollment Approval
Following your interview, our team makes an enrollment decision. Approved applicants receive a formal acceptance letter with next steps and enrollment details.
Enrollment Agreement
Review and sign your enrollment agreement, which outlines program terms, tuition, schedule, and policies. Submit your deposit to secure your seat in the program.

Admissions FAQ
Do I need prior tattoo experience to apply?
No prior tattoo experience is required. We accept students at all skill levels, from complete beginners to those with some informal experience. What matters most is your commitment, work ethic, and passion for the craft.
Do I need to be an artist to apply?
Some artistic ability is helpful, but it's not a strict requirement. Our Art Fundamentals phase is designed to build your drawing and design skills from the ground up. A willingness to practice and develop your art is what we look for.
What is the minimum age requirement?
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of enrollment.
How long does the admissions process take?
From application submission to enrollment approval typically takes 2–3 weeks, depending on scheduling for the interview and studio tour.
Can I apply if I live outside of Virginia?
Yes. Students from any state are welcome to apply. However, you must be able to attend training in person at our Vienna, Virginia location.
What happens if I'm not accepted?
If your application is not approved, we'll provide feedback and encourage you to reapply when you feel ready. We want to see every motivated applicant succeed.
